When Mini was two she went with her parents 'on the ship' to London. While living there, her mum read an article about tooth decay in children and decided Mini wasn't allowed to eat sweets. So, lollies became a major focus in her childhood and this 'interest' continues in Mini's illustrations.
As a teenager, Mini was only allowed to watch half an hour of TV a day. The rest of the time she liked to draw. As a grown-up, Mini can watch as much TV as she likes and eat as many lollies as she wants to, but she prefers to draw her three children and their friends, her cat, dog and four goldfish.
