ASLA 2009 Conference
If you are going to be at the ASLA Conference this year don’t miss out on these fabulous presentations.

Ben Beaton’s first novel, Mama’s Song will be published in September of this year. At ASLA, Ben will talk about the process of writing and publishing your first novel on Wednesday September 30 from 2.00 to 2.50pm
Also on Wednesday September 30 from 2.00 to 2.50pm, black dog books Publishing Director, Maryann Ballantyne will talk about the unique set of challenges that face an independent publisher as we turn stories into books.
And finally, Karen Tayleur, whose new novel Hostage is out in October will be the guest speaker on Wednesday September 30 from 3.50pm. Karen will talk about writing teenagers for teenagers in her lively presentation Keepin' it real: how to develop teens in the YA novel
